“Judge each day not by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” Robert Louis Stevenson.

As supervisors, managers, directors and owners, it is important to recognise how the investments we make today affect the outcomes of the future – not just in monetary terms, but in how and why we need to invest in our people, our processes and equipment.

Established in 1921, family owned Lamond and Murray is one of the country’s leading sub-contract gear manufacturers.  The company has never stood still, continually investing in the business to ensure it can complete in the current market place.

Operations Director Thomas Lapsley will share the company’s story of investing in effective (and some not so effective) change management across the business.   He’ll set out how Lamond and Murray has taken on the challenge of predicting the future state, aligning its people, process and equipment to ensure the company’s growth and long term sustainablility.

The key take-away from this workshop will be why investing in people, process and equipment is vital to scale up your operation and maximise your competitiveness.
